Our production facility at Dandenong is situated on twenty-three acres of land and we have twenty compounding lines that are each dedicated to the production of specific polymers. We attribute our continued success in the plastics compounding arena to our investment in state of the art equipment and experienced technical and manufacturing personnel.

We have recently installed three new 46mm, 40:1 LD ratio, twin screw compounders specifically for masterbatch production. This now gives us eleven identical pieces of equipment, providing us with a high degree of flexibility and uniformity.

In the first quarter of 2004 we acquired four new Battenfeld injection moulding machines which have improved our colour match turn around times, and we have installed two small extruders with specialised feeding and take off equipment aimed at improving cost efficiencies, lead times and quality assurance of small quantity masterbatches.

The plant includes three fully equipped testing laboratories and our compounding machinery varies from single screw, twin screw and continuous banbury compounding, to the latest in kneading technology.

Under the auspices of our ISO9001:2000 status we have a preferred supplier system for all of our raw materials. This system includes selection criteria such as cost effectiveness and technical credentials.

All raw materials selected for use in our products are sourced from reputable suppliers with proven track records in their particular field of expertise. Prior to selection for commercial use the raw materials are put through our thorough internal evaluation process.

Given the broad range of our activities and the volatility of the market in which we operate, we are constantly evaluating new technologies and raw material developments with a view to staying abreast of any innovation that can provide us or our customers with a market edge.
